The "Dachshund" is a three-dimensional puzzle greeting card made from birch veneer that, when opened, folds into a freestanding dachshund — including small accessories like a hat, bow, sausage necklace and bouquet, with which the dachshund can be repeatedly "dressed up". Unlike classic greeting cards, it is not a disposable product: recipients keep the dachshund as a playful decorative object. Each card is made in Berlin from sustainably sourced birch veneer and can be mailed flat in A6 format in an envelope — it arrives with recipients as a full gift, not just as a card.
