The Octopus is a three-dimensional puzzle greeting card made from birch veneer that, when opened, folds out into a free-standing octopus – a symbol of versatility, intelligence and adaptability. Unlike classic greeting cards, it is not a disposable product: recipients keep it as a lasting decorative object. Each card is made in Berlin from sustainably sourced birch veneer and can be mailed flat in A6 format – it arrives with recipients as a full-fledged gift, not just a card.
